Secondly, DriveInfo gadget works for both Windows Vista and Windows 7. The gadget has a wide range of different icons and backgrounds. It has options providing drives flexibility. All in all, it’s just practical and fool-proof. What is slightly disappointing is that you won’t find here any settings for opacity controlling.

However, you can easily customize the gadget to your needs. When you click the drive’s icon, DriveInfo opens a new window with the drive’s content. But mind that you shouldn’t allow partition that your Windows has been installed on. Somehow, Windows assume there is enough wiggle room even if there isn’t. As a result some serious errors might occur.

You may also try other gadgets tracking free space on Windows. But I suppose DriveInfo gadget is top-notch! It is amazingly designed and thought-out.

All in all, DriveInfo gadget perfectly shows what an amazing tool Windows gadget can turn out. It saves your efforts and allows skipping time-consuming manual checks. As for me, I’m gonna buy it immediately!
